Heather Anne Brennan
1 April 1988 - 20 May 2002

Heather was a delightful and magickal 14 yr. old. She is survived by her brother and sister in Florida and her Mom and Daddy in California, as well as many relatives in North Carolina and her Grandmother in Pennsylvania and Grandparents in Wisconsin.

She was a valiant warrior who fought for life until the very end, her spirit finally crossing to the Summerlands about noon on May 20th, to the accompaniment of a soft breeze and the scent of roses.  Her body gently came to rest at 8:46 PM PST, in the company of all of those she most loved.  Her favorite nurses, Grandmother, and family friends were there to support Misty and Sam as she completed this incarnation and finally escaped the bonds of cancer for good.

For Heather
by JennaSilvr

Dancing on delicate faery feet
In the misty saltiness of seas
Fluted wisps of musical notes
Float by in the windy breeze
She comes

Eyes of misty blue-grey look
Solemn and joyous, ever changing
Sweet line of cheek curves into
Lips of rosebud warmth, engaging
She stays

Tender hands stroke softly
A kitten's fur, a mother's cheeks
Leaving pink kisses on the air
In the roses of desire she seeks
She lingers

Soaring through baby-blue clouds
Touching sun, moon and glowing star
With the dragon, skirting mountains and
Hills of green, scattered here and far
She flies

In a time of leaving, her only regret is
Stayed by her love, her heart beats for
The joy of the flight and the dancing
Sprinkling the roses' scent as she does soar
She is gone

In the wake of her leaving, we touch
Each other's hands in love and happiness
Knowing for that time, she knit us
Together in giving, caring and lovingkindness
She is always there
